When the temperature drops, the blood vessels are narrowed. And the extremities of the limbs are less well irrigated. Hands and feet are exposed to frostbite if they are poorly protected.
Some parts of the face may have the same fate: nose, chin, ears blush as soon as the thermometer goes down. Faced with this aggression, the body tries in vain to send blood to the cooled parts. Plates, blisters may appear.
As your young child does not know how cold it is, it's up to you to equip it accordingly: polar fleece, fitted hood, mittens, socks and shoes with thick soles.
